this is my new-and-improved journal with my brand spankin' new username. it kicks ass. my old username was shepard_girl and it just didn't sit well with me over time, but this handle has so i decide to change to this one. i took all of my old entries from my old journal and put them on this one, so that's why i have a lot of entries dated before my sign-up date. :) feel free to visit my old journal and verify that.
i'm a writer, and i'm currently writing fanfic in the outsiders fandom. i'll probably branch out to other fandoms and even into original fiction but for now i'm comfortable where i'm at. i have an awesome beta who helps me out a lot with my stuff. :) and i get to beta for her as well, which is a privilege.
i'm slightly insane, so bear with any weird posts. i'm also a bitch at times, so forgive me for my bitchy rants. i'm married [common law for now, we'll make it legal later] so sorry guys and girls, i'm not available.
i'm also really into body modification, specifically tattoos and piercings. i currently have 14 piercings and 1 tattoo, though i will be getting my second [and possibly a third] very soon! i also want to start stretching my lobes sometime, but as it involves a lot of time and money, i'm going to wait until i'm more stable. my first goal size, btw, is 4g and my ultimate goal size is 0g. reason being i want to wait and enjoy some danglies before i move up in size. :)

i also have a monroe/madonna/whatever the hell you want to call it, a navel, and one nip. i had both nips done, but one fell out and closed up and then i had it repierced [different piercer, mistake] and it was crooked, so i took it out and won't have it redone.
my tattoo is the symbol of tolkien on my lower back.
